Responsary is a policy-driven AI governance system designed to compute governance obligations as executable logic rather than manual review processes. As organizations deploy increasingly complex ML and GenAI systems, governance must scale deterministically — not through documents and ad hoc approvals.

Responsary is developed by Kelly Zhang, a student at Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Computer Science. The work focuses on translating governance logic into executable systems that integrate with real AI deployments.

Responsary is currently focused on validating policy computation through design-partner pilots in regulated environments. The scope is intentionally limited to governance decision logic — not full-stack model tooling.
